Specialized translation

Specialized translation is the translation of content which presents a high or very high level of specialization in a specific area of knowledge where previous knowledge of the material on the part of the translator and/or reviewer is a basic and essential requirement.

Contents can be classified into the following areas of knowledge:

Scientific translation: biology, chemistry, ecology, genetics, geography, geology, medicine, nutrition, optics, pharmaceutics, physics, psychology, and veterinary medicine, among others.

Financial translation: accounting, advertising, balances, banking, commerce, enterprises, finance, general economy, human resources, insurance, investments, marketing, public relations, sales, statements, and stocks, among others.

Legal translation: authorizations, branding, certificates, civil rights, commercial law, contracts, copyright, diplomas, general law, patents, public law, societal law, statutes, and taxes, among others.

Technical translation: aeronautics, aerospace industry, agriculture, architecture, automobiles, construction, energy industry, electricity, electronics, hardware, mechanics, metallurgical industry, mining, multimedia, printing, renewable energy, roads, and shipbuilding industry, among others.

Communications translation: advertising, art, education, history, journalism, pedagogy, philosophy, religion, and sociology, among others.
